Silver Sands Summer Vacation - June 14 thru 22, 2008
While in Florida for this year's Silver Sands Summer Vacation, we had a number of adventures such as crabbing at night on the beach, the Cap'n Phil's Pirate Cruise, and an off-road sandy drive through Washington Point State Park near Grayton Beach.  For pictures and info on this trip, click here.

This was a beautiful day for a ride with the top down, so we teamed-up with the Hollands and their Penzgauer and headed for the mountains.  We stopped at a cabin owned by one of the Holland's friends, ate lunch (PB&J sandwiches of course), and played.  The kids found some very large snails and played with hem for a while before we headed for a spot to play on Holly Creek.  The water was cold and the rocks were very slippery, but everyone had a lot of fun.  We didn't get to do much riding on the mountain though because a bridge was out and we had to get back home at a reasonable hour.  Next time we'll take a nice long drive.
