January 13-14, 2007: B&B Farms
This adventure was planned, kinda, at the last minute.  What started-out as a one day adventure turned into two.  Two of my oldest friends, Mark & Super Dave, recently purchased an 80 acre farm out in the country east of Calhoun.  The Second Saturday in January, I loaded Herbie (our multi-purpose off-road golf cart) on the trailer, and headed that way.  We spent the rest of the weekend riding Herbie around the beautiful rolling hills, fishing in the ponds, watching deer, eating pizza (and PB&J), metal detecting, roasting marshmallows, and visiting with some of our best friends.  It was about as much fun as the kids have ever had, and the warm weather made us glad we live in Georgia.
